Hokkaido Classic Golf Club

A Nicklaus design cut through white birch and silver fir.

Hokkaido's summer is the reason serious golfers travel north: long daylight, dry air and temperatures in the low twenties while the rest of Japan is humid. Hokkaido Classic is the pick of the region — a wide, strategic Nicklaus layout with generous landing areas and severe consequences for anyone who takes the wrong line off the tee.

Why we book it

  • Full Jack Nicklaus signature design
  • Daylight until past 7pm in June and July
  • Under an hour from New Chitose Airport
Signature hole — 13, par 3
